Providing real value for our customers today while shaping the future of money About the Role We’re looking for a numbers-obsessed and globally-driven VP, User Acquisition and Growth to own and scale Quidax’s user base across Africa and beyond. You’ll build high-performing acquisition engines across paid, organic, and crypto-native channels, making sure we grow not just fast - but profitably. This role isn’t about running campaigns for fluff metrics. It’s about building sustainable growth loops, owning CAC and LTV, and turning acquisition into a repeatable, scalable machine. If you have successfully managed large-scale acquisition programs and are comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments, especially in Web3 or fintech, this role is literally in your pocket Key Outcomes (First 6–12 Months) Your success will be measured by what you deliver: Daily Traders: Grow daily active traders. Monthly Active Users (MAUs): Scale MAUs. Conversion: Increase sign-up to first-trade conversion . Retention: Lift monthly retention . Revenue Growth: Directly contribute to scaling revenue. Market Share: Establish Quidax as a top 2 most recognized and used exchange . Success Metrics / KPIs Daily Active Traders (DAT) Monthly Active Users (MAU) Sign-up → First Trade Conversion % Retention Rate (30-day, 90-day) CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and LTV (Lifetime Value) Market share (brand awareness + trading volume vs. competitors) Revenue contribution by growth channels Trade volume contribution Core Responsibilities (How You’ll Win) Growth Strategy: Design and execute a performance-driven growth plan across retail and VIP segments, aligned to Quidax’s revenue WIGs. Acquisition Engines: Build and scale acquisition channels (affiliate/KOL programs, referrals, content, WhatsApp/Telegram growth loops, merchant networks, university ambassadors, community-led initiatives). Activation & Conversion: Reduce friction in onboarding; optimize funnels to drive more first-time trades. Retention & Loyalty: Build engagement loops (gamification, habit-forming features, anniversary moments, rewards). Data-Driven Decisions: Use cohort analysis, A/B testing, and funnel metrics to optimise spend and impact. Localisation: Leverage cultural insights, FX dynamics, and informal trading behaviours unique to African markets. Partnerships: Unlock high-impact distribution through telcos, fintech apps, and informal trading hubs. Brand Mindshare: Collaborate with Marketing to make Quidax one of the top 2 most recalled crypto brands in Nigeria . Team Leadership: Build, coach, and inspire a high-performance growth team. Skills & Experience Must-Haves Proven track record scaling users/customers in a consumer product. History of delivering performance-based growth KPIs (acquisition, conversion, retention, revenue). Data-driven operator: strong in funnel analysis, CAC/LTV modelling, cohort analysis. Execution edge: knows how to make things move fast with limited resources . Leadership: experience in building and leading a multi-disciplinary growth team. Reporting line You’ll report directly to the COO , working closely with Product, Marketing and Operations leadership.
