Head - Design is responsible for the success of our projects. You will oversee the creative vision, quality, and performance of our interior design services, driving the integration of design and product strategy to create unique value propositions and significant market impact. Working closely with our Co-CEOs and creative leadership team, you will develop and implement client development strategies.

This role requires significant travel, estimated at fifty percent or more, and demands a professional presentation style, articulative skills, creativity, good judgment, client and operator management, and strong business acumen.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Co-CEOs and creative leadership team to develop and implement client development strategies to reinforce our position as a leading luxury hospitality design firm globally.
  • Lead multiple hospitality design projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee project deliverables and resolve escalations by collaborating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for projects and clients, responsible for the overall quality and performance of your project teams.
  • Engage actively in client engagement and business development activities.
  • Develop innovative approaches to design processes and strategies, fostering a culture of design excellence within the organization.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of the next generation of design talent.
  • Collaborate with project leaders, design leaders, and project teams across studios.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for project leadership and success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on hospitality projects.
  • Proven success in leading design projects from concept to completion.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative and high-quality interior design work.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.
