Job Title:
Customer Service Liaison Specialist
">Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination of shipments and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Your primary focus will be on providing sales support to the Sales & Customer Services Department, preparing quotations for customers, and following up on sales enquiries.
">Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support to the Sales & Customer Services Department
- Prepare quotations for customers and follow up on sales enquiries
- Take and place bookings
- Engage in telemarketing to promote our services
- Coordinate all import and export shipments with overseas and local agents in Japanese
- Prepare billing for customers
- Liaise with carriers/shipping lines and co-loaders to secure attractive rates
- Liaise with internal and external customers
- Ensure data manifests are accurate for all shipments
- C-coordinate outdoor activities with Japanese customers when required
- Comply with and meet Integrated Management System requirements
- Ensure achievement of IMS policy and objectives
- Perform other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least an O-level certificate with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Able to write and speak fluent Japanese as communication in Japanese is necessary while dealing with Japanese clients
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Possess good analytical skills and be a team player
- Experience in ocean and air freight is preferred
