Perform routine quality checks & inspections on all incoming products
Conduct checks on the production raw materials, production, and company trucks
Generate reports and maintain quality assurance records
Ensure products adhere to Singapore food regulations
Report non-conformances to QA manager for investigation & corrective action
Resolve quality issues/customer feedback with the team
Support R&D projects & assist in sample preparation
Provide food quality & food safety related assistance to other departments
Act as point of contact for product certifications/documents request
Specialize in food halal matters (part of the Halal team)
Perform internal audits to ensure company's standard compliance
Monitor processes – GMP/Pest Control/Hygiene/Safety in the company's compound
Conduct training for the production team
Involve in the FSSC, Halal, and SFA certifications
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
Degree in Food Science or Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or related
Minimum 2 years of related working experience in the food industry
Knowledge of FSSC22000 or any other GFSI recognized certification
Knowledge of MUIS and/or HSE requirements is an added advantage
Good communication and social skills, comfortable with communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., SFA/MUIS officer, auditors, customers, vendors, etc.)
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and work independently
