Job Overview:

We are seeking QA Automation Engineer to lead and enhance our QA and testing practices. You will define and maintain testing processes, mentor cross-functional teams, and ensure the quality of software delivery across various projects. This role involves championing product quality, integrating test automation into continuous integration pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and uphold QA and Testing processes, including Test Management, Defects Management, and Code Quality.
  • Coach and mentor business analysts and end-users on QA and testing processes, promoting a culture of quality.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and internal teams to develop and automate end-to-end test scenarios, minimizing manual intervention.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies to optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing documentation is prepared for production readiness.
  • Advocate for and drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in establishing and executing test strategies in agile and waterfall environments.
  • Deep knowledge of various testing types, methodologies, and test automation, with a strong grasp of test-driven development and continuous integration/delivery principles.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation and integrating it into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in QA management for system delivery and certifications in Testing and Software Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA) are advantageous.
  • Proven skills in exploratory and regression test automation, with experience in testing scalable web applications.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTP will be added advantage
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon Recorder, Katalon Studio, or similar tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of both desktop and mobile browser technologies will be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to new technologies.
