Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Reservations and Instant Services Coordinator to manage internal and external calls, ensuring a warm welcome for our guests.

  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Notify sales of any group bookings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling hotel products and services using up-selling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling techniques to maximize total Hotel revenue.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of hotel and IHG systems, particularly Opera PMS and guest complaints tracking system, to ensure accurate capture of data for operation teams.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and courteously while adhering to Brand Standards.
  • Provide recommendations to guests based on their purpose of travel or stay, as well as provide accurate information about the city and surrounding attractions when requested.
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints, making service recovery gestures according to established guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include owning and resolving guest problems or complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Higher NITEC or Diploma in hospitality and tourism management, customer experience management, or any other relevant qualification is required.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in the hotel industry, fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Opera Property Management System is an added advantage.
  • Able to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Must speak fluent English and another language.
  • Great communication skills to interact with guests, employees, and third parties that reflect highly on the hotel, brand, and company.
