(What the role is)
PRINCIPAL / SENIOR ASSISTANT ENGINEER, ACTIVE MOBILITY

(What you will be working on)
You will be involved in the planning, design and implementation of walking and cycling-related infrastructure. You will conduct site checks and provide drafting support of technical drawings as well as work closely with government agencies and stakeholders (internal and external) to meet all requirements for a successful implementation of active mobility infrastructure. In addition, you will provide administrative support on matters relating to finance, procurement and staffing matters. Through the discharge of your work, you will develop your interpersonal skills through interaction and communication with the community and various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

(What we are looking for)

  • Knowledge in Civil Engineering
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in drafting technical drawings
  • Team player with pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Independent and self-motivated, able to interact effectively with staff of different levels
  • Class 3 driving licence is preferred
  • Proficient in use of Bentley Microstation / AutoCAD software and use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge in financial resource management / governance and budgeting will be advantageous
  • As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment
