Responsibilities:
Independently assess and identify the individual needs of paediatric clients and formulate, develop and implement appropriate individualised/group therapy programmes.
Apply paediatric and early intervention evidence-based practices in the intervention programme.
Provide individual and group therapy to the paediatric population.
Target goals for intervention and prepare an intervention plan.
Provide guidance to parents on how to handle the child and continue building skills.
Liaise and work with parents, educators, and other stakeholders involved.
Work with the clinic to develop our clinical services.
Provide consultation and training to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of 3 years of paediatric working experience while holding full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
Experience and a passion for helping children with special needs.
Submission of two writing samples (anonymised and de-identified).
This is a consultancy position where remuneration is calculated by reference to client hours rather than a fixed monthly salary. The salary range indicated is an estimated monthly salary depending on the number of client hours.
