About THKMC

Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

THK Therapy Service Division

THK Therapy Service Division (TS) provides occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech language therapy services to THKMC programmes and other community organisations. TS adopts a holistic client and family-centred care approach by working with transdisciplinary or multidisciplinary professional teams, families, and other community partners. Through individual and group therapy sessions, TS addresses the various needs of clients ranging from paediatric to geriatric.

The Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapist is directly involved in the provision of therapy services related to developing and maintaining one's capacity throughout life, to perform tasks and roles essential to productive living including self-care, daily living, leisure and work for children and/or adults. The Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapistis is responsible for the assessment, intervention provision, and management of caseload given. We are currently looking for Occupational Therapist in both pediatric and adult settings to serve our clients at places such as:

  • Early Intervention Program for Infants and Children
  • Development Support Learning Support Program
  • SPED School
  • Day Rehabilitation Centre
  • Disability Services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore, or have passed the Qualifying Examinations recognized by AHPC.
  • Fresh graduates with the relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

  • Possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team player, hard-working and proactive.
  • Strong desire to maintain high professional standards for quality service and professionalism.
  • Full Registration Therapist looking for part time working arrangement are also welcome to apply.
