Description Overview Position: Programme Officer – One Health OfficeLocation: Novena SquareTemporary Contract (12 months, 2 Nov 2025 – 1 Nov 2026)Salary: $4,800/month (Degree with at least 12 years of working experience)Work Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am – 6:00pm; Fridays: 8:30am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)Responsibilities Programme Support and Coordination (35%)Support coordination of One Health Master Plan initiatives across the five domains: food safety, animal-borne diseases, vector-borne diseases, environmental hazards, and enablersAssist co-leads (SFA, CDA, NParks, NEA, PUB) in implementing domain-specific initiativesSupport inter-agency working groups and help maintain alignment with international frameworksTrack implementation progress and assist with reporting on Master Plan activitiesResearch and Documentation (30%)Conduct literature reviews on One Health topics including zoonotic diseases, food safety, environmental health, and capacity buildingPerform scientific writing to produce communication materials, reports, and briefing documentsSupport horizon scanning activities on One Health research and workforce competenciesAssist in developing evidence-based recommendations and policy materialsStakeholder Engagement and Events (20%)Support coordination with domestic and international One Health partnersAssist with Singapore\'s participation in international One Health forums and initiativesHelp develop communication materials and public education resourcesSupport organisation of workshops, meetings, and capacity-building eventsPrepare content for World One Health Day and promotional activitiesAdministrative and Secretariat Support (15%)Provide administrative support for One Health governance structures and committeesManage meeting coordination, documentation, and information collationMaintain stakeholder contact lists and communication systemsSupport basic project administration and resource coordinationPerform general secretariat functions including note-taking and presentation preparationRequired Qualifications and Experience Bachelor\'s degree in public health, life sciences, veterinary science, environmental science, or related fieldPost-graduate certifications will be an advantage2-12 years of work experience in relevant areas such as public health, research, policy support, or programme coordinationBasic understanding of public health concepts and multisectoral approachesExperience in research, writing, or project support activitiesGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively across different teams and organisationsPreferred Qualifications and Competencies Preference will be given to candidates with postgraduate qualifications or government/healthcare/research experience, particularly those familiar with One Health conceptsCandidates should demonstrate strong research, analytical, and communication skills with adaptability and collaborative working abilitiesIf you meet the requirements, please submit your resume directly to License No: 96C4864 Reg.
