A songwriter is needed to create an original song in English, including both melody and lyrics. The style should be inspired by Nessa Barrett's Young Forever album, with a modern, emotive, and relatable tone. This is a personal project for an individual who enjoys music, singing, and dancing. The collaboration will be remote, with flexibility on budget and timing, though preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in Czech for easier coordination. Applicants are encouraged to share samples of previous songwriting or composition work.
Responsibilities
Write an original English-language song with melody and lyrics
Capture the emotional and stylistic essence of modern pop artists such as Nessa Barrett
Adapt writing to suit a personal project while keeping it authentic and engaging
Provide sheet music, demo recordings, or reference tracks as part of the final delivery
Communicate progress and incorporate feedback to refine the final version
Deliver a polished, ready-to-use composition
Skills and Requirements
Proven experience as a songwriter or music composer, with a strong portfolio of original work
Ability to compose both lyrics and melodies in contemporary pop styles
Understanding of vocal phrasing, song structure, and emotional storytelling in music
Strong creative collaboration and openness to feedback
English fluency required; Czech language skills are a plus for smoother communication
Remote availability with flexibility in delivery timeline
