A music production company is seeking an iOS mobile app developer to build a unique creative tool called the Dragonsong Oracle. This application is designed as a songwriting divination tool, combining game-like mechanics with generative text and audio features. The app will allow users to draw digital ‘Dragon’ cards that represent key creative elements, generating complete song frameworks and poetic descriptions to inspire original music. The role requires proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI and full-stack development, with the potential for follow-up projects.
Responsibilities
Develop and deploy the Dragonsong Oracle app for iOS platforms using Swift/SwiftUI
Implement drag-and-draw mechanics for card-based interaction
Integrate AI-generated text outputs to deliver song seed concepts and poetic descriptions
Add functionality for saving, exporting, and sharing generated content
Build optional audio layers aligned with chosen tonalities
Explore integration with Discord for community features and engagement
Design a scalable architecture to support future monetization and competition-based incentives
Collaborate on creative user experience design to align with the project’s narrative and storytelling goals
Skills and Requirements
Strong experience in iOS development with Swift/SwiftUI
Knowledge of full-stack development for mobile apps
Ability to integrate AI-generated content and third-party APIs
Experience in building interactive and visually engaging mobile app interfaces
Familiarity with audio integration in iOS applications
Understanding of user experience design for creative tools and gamified interactions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on a remote project
Availability to begin development immediately, with flexibility for follow-up collaboration
