Job Summary The Executive – Operations (Warehouse and Cold Chain Management) plays a vital role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse, cold-chain, and transport operations within a smart, AI-enabled logistics ecosystem. The role ensures seamless coordination of inbound and outbound activities, temperature-controlled handling, and inventory accuracy while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability. He/She is responsible for the development and execution of warehouse operational policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring full compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. This includes the accurate documentation, efficient coordination of deliveries and inventory movement, and the fulfilment of customer orders with precision and timeliness. Using AI tools, automation systems, and data analytics, he/she continuously monitors and optimises storage capacity, resource utilisation, and workflow efficiency to drive productivity improvements. Analytical and logical in approach, the Executive evaluates operational challenges, explores innovative solutions, and assesses the feasibility of process enhancements. The role also involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to implement technology-driven solutions, streamline processes, and support the effective management of the warehouse operations - contributing to service excellence and organisational performance in an evolving digital logistics landscape. Job Responsibilities Business Administration Operations Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of operational and administrative requirements and activities Foster a value-driven, accountable, and safety-first workplace culture. Adhere to organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting processes Adhere to organisation's data governance and protection processes Lead teams in the workplace Review allocation of resources in support of different business activities Optimise use of allocated resources Coordinate operational policies, standards and procedures Execute operational policies, risk-mitigation, and crisis-management plans. Develop incident or crisis management plans to ensure gaps are mitigated Business Process/Continuous Improvement Analyse workflows to identify automation or process-improvement opportunities. Engage senior management for buy-in to implement technological solutions identified Execute business processes improvement solutions Drive continuous-improvement projects integrating sustainability and CSR principles. Execute environmental protection policies and procedures Develop measures using quality management knowledge to enhance quality standards (Reduce defects, delays, and waste)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed innovation and technology adoption. Safety and Health Manage WSH activities to ensure department's compliance to requirements Conduct WSH risk assessments and support safety audits. Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with safety standards. Address WSH risks by using AI-driven monitoring or reporting tools to identify safety trends and determine hazards. Manage WSH solutioning discussions around suggestions to improve existing processes Promote proactive safety communication and continuous learning within the team. Technology Application Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes Leverage data analytics to generate insights for decision-making and efficiency tracking by developing AI dashboards, applications. Collaborate on digital-transformation initiatives that enhance operational resilience and sustainability. Support pilot projects involving robotics, digital twins, or predictive maintenance. Sales and Customer Service Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders Communicate with key
