We welcome you to join our community of faculty, students and alumni who are shaping the future of AI, Data Science and Computing.The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.**Key Responsibilities:*** Curate and maintain high-quality instruction-following datasets for advancing human-AI collaboration.* Train and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) on curated datasets to develop next-generation AI assistants.* Conduct experiments and evaluate models to identify effective techniques for alignment and collaboration.* Contribute to publications at top-tier research venues and present findings to the academic community.* Collaborate closely with team members on research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.* Support teaching activities and mentor students when required.**Job Requirements:*** Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.* Experience in fine-tuning LLMs on curated datasets* Experience in curating datasets both synthetic and from humans* Good programming skills and experience with machine learning framework* Publication record is a plus* Ability to work independently and in a team.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world’s top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world’s top young university for the past seven years.
