Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on global markets (US, Europe, UK, Australia, Western Pacific, Singapore), identifying trends, assessing opportunities, and analysing potential investments across asset classes, including equities, private equity, and commercial real estate.
Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate prospects, forecast performance, and support sound investment decisions.
Market Monitoring: Track and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments, producing reports, summaries, and presentations to assess risks and support recommendations.
Investment Screening: Review and summarise investment ideas and materials from global banking partners, brokers, and advisors; assist in preparing clear, structured reports and presentations for leadership.
Operational & Project Support: Provide administrative, operational, and project management assistance to senior team members, anticipating needs, resolving issues before escalation, and ensuring smooth coordination with EAs and other team members.
Information Management: Maintain research files, industry watchlists, and contact databases.
Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with commercial or operational projects aligned with the family office's evolving interests.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (CFA/CAIA a plus).
At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, or family office environment.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.
Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial databases.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a small, entrepreneurial team.
Strong ethical standards and alignment with the long-term values of the family office.
