Position: Carbon Technical Specialist (Nature Based Solutions)
Industry: Sustainability Environmental Solutions
Salary Range: S$6,000 to S$8,000
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility assessments.
Analyze technical requirements for each individual project according to standards (Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard (GS), Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB)).
Handle emissions reduction estimation using approved methodologies.
Compile and write Project Design Documents (PDD).
Manage the full process of registration requirements on carbon registries.
Design, lead, and coordinate project plans for various projects.
Create economic models and allocate resources for project implementation.
Monitor, report, and verify (MRV) by coordinating internally with third parties.
Assist and contribute to project developments.
Liaise closely with various business functions in the company.
Plan field visits.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Possess a degree in a relevant field.
Have a keen interest in learning about new potential environmental technological solutions.
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring Corporate Sustainability strategies/policies & programs in sustainable development is advantageous.
Prior experience in Sustainability Management is preferred.
Possess good project and time management skills.
Fluent in communication and writing skills, including research paper-type documents.
Team player with the ability to multi-task.
