Job Description:
The Finance Officer at Casa Raudha will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, monitoring and analyzing accounting data, and producing financial reports or statements. This role requires a meticulous and proactive professional who can maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including collection and invoice processing.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
Ensure compliance with all statutory law and financial regulations, working closely with external auditors to ensure proper compliance is maintained.
Prepare financial reports for tax and regulatory purposes.
Payroll and Payments:
Administer statements of account and detailed reports on financial status.
Oversee employee payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments to staff.
Requirements:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Minimum 3 years of direct experience in an accounting role.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial accounting statements.
Experience with accounting software and databases.
