Position Summary:
Innovative retail optometry practice seeking a skilled and compassionate optometrist to deliver exceptional patient care. Perform comprehensive eye examinations, provide professional advice, and manage inventory with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment for accurate diagnosis and testing.
- Offer personalized solutions and expert advice to customers regarding their eye health and contact lens options.
- Engage in open communication with customers to gather detailed case histories and understand their needs.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of various contact lenses, providing recommendations based on individual requirements.
- Manage the dispensing and inventory of contact lenses, trials, and solutions with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of patient eye health and purchases, ensuring seamless data management.
- Ensure the optimal condition of equipment and measuring devices, guaranteeing precise measurements and reliable results.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of daily shop activities, maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution.
- Full registration with the Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB).
- Ability to commit to flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust with patients and colleagues alike.
