Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our Indian restaurant. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, solid F&B experience, and a deep understanding of Indian cuisine and customer expectations. This role ensures smooth operations, excellent guest experiences, and compliance with Singapore regulations.Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.Manage staff scheduling, table arrangements, and overall workflow.Ensure consistent food quality, service standards, and dining experience.2. Customer Service Excellence Greet and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.Handle feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.Maintain a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests.3. Staff Management & Training Lead and supervise service staff, including captains, servers, and cashiers.Conduct training in customer service, menu knowledge, and SOPs.Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and guidance.4. Menu & Product Knowledge Possess strong understanding of Indian cuisine, including regional specialties, spices, and dining styles.Work with the kitchen team on menu planning, promotions, and seasonal items.Train staff on menu details and dish recommendations.5. Inventory & Cost Control Oversee ordering of supplies, beverages, and restaurant consumables.Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage.Support management in cost control, budgeting, and supplier coordination.6. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to SFA (Singapore Food Agency) food safety and hygiene regulations.Maintain cleanliness and ensure that the restaurant meets audit and inspection standards.Ensure proper licensing compliance, including food shop license, alcohol license (if applicable), etc.7. Sales, Marketing & Reporting Assist in marketing activities, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.Monitor daily sales and prepare operational reports.Analyse customer trends and recommend improvements.8. Team Collaboration Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely service.Coordinate with owners/management on business strategies and operational issues.Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff.Requirements Proven experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a full-service restaurant. Experience in Indian cuisine or Indian restaurant operations preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Good understanding of SFA hygiene requirements and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak-hour operations. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
