We are seeking a dynamic and driven Editorial Lead to elevate our Lifestyle content. If you are an experienced journalist or editor eager to shape how people live, work and play, this is the place for you to showcase your talents and passion.
As a leading digital content provider, we are taking off for our next phase of growth as a fully privately owned news and media outlet. In this position, you will work closely with the management team and be supported by other departments to give a unique edge to our reporting.
Key Responsibilities
As Editorial Lead, you will play an important role in shaping our Lifestyle coverage. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a bold content strategy for lifestyle content.
- Maintaining high-quality content standards through rigorous editing and fact-checking.
- Driving the creation of diverse content formats, including news reports, feature articles, photo essays, and social videos.
- Leading a team of journalists and fostering a collaborative environment.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in journalism, preferably with proven editing experience.
- A good degree in journalism, communications or social science.
- Strong news sense and a natural flair for storytelling.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Citizenship or permanent residency.
