This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore. Responsibilities Mechanical maintenance and overhauling skills required for FPP, CPP, Gearbox, Transverse thruster, Azimuth thruster and WaterJet, etc. Carry out propulsion product troubleshooting, maintenance and investigation. Execute propulsion product warranty, commissioning work and supervision of new building projects. Executing warranty, commissioning work & supervision of Field Service. Prepare service work reports. Technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers. Qualifications Ability to work on engine/propulsion with field service & marine engineer background. Ability to understand, use and interpret electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component-level documentation. Knowledge and experience related to control system specification and design, marine power distribution, motor control, process sensors and instrumentation, valves, pumps, fans and other process system components. Good command of written and verbal English; Diploma/BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electric & Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering. Preference for propulsion FS experience.
