Engineering Visionary

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of software engineering teams, focusing on delivering high-quality products while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and manage roadmaps, driving incremental progress towards product vision.
  • Create and maintain long-term technical plans, updating regularly to address evolving business needs and infrastructure requirements.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to engineers, promoting growth and professional development.
  • Establish quality, reliability, and security standards within teams, ensuring exceptional software engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in modern full-stack web application technologies, preferably with Next.Js/React.js and Java/TypeScript on the backend.
  • Strong understanding of technical leadership, including soft skills and expertise beyond technical prowess.
  • Passion for engineering excellence, recognizing software engineering as a team sport and valuing craftsmanship.
  • Experience coaching developers to enhance performance and grow careers, with knowledge of WebLogic and Tomcat.
  • Proven track record as an Engineering Manager, building and running successful software engineering teams.
  • Able to lead multiple teams of Software Engineers (10-20) and handle concurrent projects effectively.
