Our next chapter is East Coast Systems - a 2026 technology spin-out focused on building and commercialising Applied AI systems for the hospitality and F&B industry .Flow Systems will take the group's internal technology stack - developed over years of operating complex F&B businesses - and scale it into a full suite of enterprise-grade AI products for global deployment.Our mission:To build AI systems that make physical industries intelligent - tools that understand data, context, and human workflows as well as the people who use them.About the Team Our engineering team is small, fast-moving, and deeply technical.We build practical, production-grade AI products that directly support and transform F&B operations.Our current platforms include:- Grapestack - predictive inventory, pricing & demand automation- SupaDriver - intelligent routing and delivery orchestration- BearHug - generative customer engagement & loyalty automation (in development) - Geddit - AI-powered procurement software for food, wine, and ingredient sourcing (in development) These products form the foundation of Flow Systems - an ecosystem of applied AI tools purpose-built for restaurants, hotels, and consumer brands.About the Role We're hiring a Pioneer Product Engineer (Applied AI) to join our Singapore HQ.This is a 0→1 role - hands-on, full-stack, and deeply interdisciplinary.You'll work directly with the founders and senior engineers to:- Design and build fullstack systems using Python (FastAPI/Django) and Next.js/React - Integrate LLMs , diffusion models , and agentic workflows into production pipelines- Build and deploy intelligent systems that reason, automate, and adapt to real-world data- Prototype and refine AI-driven applications across inventory, logistics, procurement, and engagement- Collaborate with internal business teams and clients to translate operational pain points into software- Shape the technical foundation and product DNA of East Coast Systems as it prepares to spin out in 2026This is not a typical engineering position - it's an opportunity to help define and build an applied AI company from the ground up.What We're Looking For • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience) • 0-3 years of experience (internships count)• Strong foundation in Python , TypeScript , FastAPI , Next.js , and React • Familiarity and foundational understanding of LLM architecture and agentic workflows , including frameworks such as LangChain , LangGraph , LlamaIndex , and Transformers • Exposure to diffusion models , embeddings , vector databases , and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines• Knowledge of modern AI ecosystems and model standards (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Meta, HuggingFace, Stability, etc.)• Demonstrated ability to build independently - side projects, prototypes, open-source contributions, or tools you've created• Strong communication skills and ability to operate cross-functionally between product, engineering, and business• A bias toward execution, clarity, and ownership Exceptional Candidates May Have • Experience delivering production-grade AI products or web platforms• Familiarity with modern data infrastructure (Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Vercel, Fly.io)• Interest in the business and operational side of hospitality or supply chain automation• Desire to take on leadership responsibility as Flow Systems scalesTech Stack Languages: Python, TypeScriptFrameworks: FastAPI, Django, Next.js, ReactAI Tooling: LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace, OpenAI, Anthropic, Stability, MistralInfra: Supabase (PostgreSQL), Redis, Vercel, AWSLocation Singapore - this is an in-person role embedded within our HQ office, where product and operations meet.Interview Process 1.
