Structural Engineering Leader

Cundall's Singapore team is seeking an experienced and talented leader to join their structural engineering discipline. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead a project team in delivering complex projects throughout the entire process of structural engineering design, from conceptual design stage to construction.

This role offers a chance to work on exciting projects across Asia and internationally, while collaborating with expert engineers and technicians. You will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and providing coaching and training to ensure their success.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a strong technical background in structural engineering, as well as excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams in delivering complex projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide coaching and training
  • Collaborate with expert engineers and technicians
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local codes of practice and authority submission and approval procedures

Requirements:

  • BEng or MEng degree level (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proven experience of managing medium / large size projects and delivering to time and budgetary deadlines
  • Broad and deep technical knowledge in Structural Engineering, plus demonstrable understanding of other disciplines
  • Familiar with local codes of practice and authority submission and approval procedures
  • Registered as Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore
  • Competent user of relevant structural engineering software
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges
