What the role is: As Assistant Chief Security Officer, you will assist to manage security-related issues pertaining to MFA's overseas missions. What you will be working on: Conduct Security Audits as well as provide risk and threat assessments Compile and track progress of audit reports Propose budget on security-related expenditure including overseas trips Assist with procurement / tenders of security-related goods/equipment/servicesCollate and update information on security standards and keep abreast of any technical development in the realm of security and be able to evaluate such technology when required Carry out investigations on security lapses Design and propose appropriate security upgrades to our overseas properties Provide security advisory to deal with specific situations to ensure personnel safety and protection of property What we are looking for: Singapore Citizen PLRD certification preferred Certification as Associate Protection Professional (APP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) and affiliation as a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) preferred Relevant experience in the area of physical security and security systems Experience in procurement of services is preferred Strong administrative and writing skills preferred At least 5 years of experience working in a physical security or physical security-related agency You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
