We are seeking an
Occupational Therapist (Locum)
to join our clinic on weekends. The role focuses on paediatric therapy and includes a strong emphasis on
family coaching
to empower caregivers in supporting their child’s development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide paediatric occupational therapy for children with developmental, behavioural, and learning needs.
Work closely with parents/caregivers to coach and equip them with strategies for daily routines, school readiness, and social participation.
Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, and educational specialists to deliver integrated, child- and family-centred care.
Maintain professional documentation and uphold ethical practice standards.
Requirements
Recognised Degree/Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and families.
AHPC registration (full).
Strong skills in parent/caregiver coaching and partnership.
Compassionate, flexible, and able to work independently in a clinic setting.
