Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Global Compliance Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting onboarding, event-driven, and periodic Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for corporate and institutional clients. They will also be responsible for reviewing and verifying client documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks such as Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), sanctions, adverse media, and jurisdictional risks.

They will work closely with relationship managers, compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve documentation issues and escalate high-risk cases. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate client profiles and records, and monitoring and tracking KYC review progress to meet internal service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory deadlines.

  • Conduct KYC reviews for existing corporate and institutional clients;
  • Review and verify client documentation to ensure compliance;
  • Identify and assess potential risks;
  • Maintain accurate client profiles and records;
  • Monitor and track KYC review progress;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A diploma or degree in business, finance, banking, or a related discipline;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in banking, KYC, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or compliance functions;
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and KYC requirements;
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
