Role: Cloud Solution Architect / Senior Cloud Engineer As part of our Cloud Transformation practice, you will help clients design and implement secure, scalable cloud environments to support enterprise applications, data pipelines, and AI workloads. You’ll drive cloud-native and DevSecOps adoption, lead containerized workloads on Kubernetes, and embed security practices into CI/CD and infrastructure pipelines for both application and data/AI deployments. Key Responsibilities Advocate and implement cloud-native technologies and DevSecOps best practices across application, data, and AI platforms. Work with customers to understand current infrastructure, applications, databases, APIs, and data/AI workloads to define the future-state cloud environment. Design and implement Kubernetes-based container orchestration (AKS, EKS, or on-prem K8s) for scalable, secure workloads including data processing and AI inference. Lead proof-of-concepts and migrations of infrastructure, applications, and data platforms to cloud. Advise customers on cloud strategy, security architecture, and compliance frameworks (e.g. MAS TRM, PDPA, ISO 27001). Drive project delivery – own architecture, design, and planning from infrastructure through systems, applications, data, and AI components. Act as workstream lead, managing migration engineering teams, leading discussions, reviewing work, and being hands-on where required. Prepare, review, and present required documentation and design artefacts. Integrate observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and automated policy enforcement into cloud and AI environments. About You – Preferred Knowledge/Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of experience implementing private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions; at least 3 full cloud migration cycles. Strong AWS and/or Azure cloud concepts with hands-on experience working with cloud services. Experience designing multi-cloud services including container orchestration with Kubernetes and support for data/AI workloads. Knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud-native patterns, container management, and cloud computing capabilities as offered by CSPs like Microsoft Azure and AWS. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, service meshes, ingress, RBAC). Strong background in Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration. Solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks. Proficiency in DevSecOps practices, including pipeline security, compliance checks, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning across IaC and container images. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Resource Manager templates, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet. Familiarity with container security tools (Aqua, Prisma Cloud, Trivy, Twistlock) and zero-trust networking. Understanding of the various IT infrastructures, application stacks, and data/AI platforms (e.g. model training/inference pipelines, big data platforms, AI microservices). Understanding agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts. Working within customer requirements and advising on best practices while upholding customer service standards. Experienced with scripting in one or more of: Python, Java, JavaScript, C#/.NET. Added advantage if you have done private cloud or cloud strategy/assessment work for clients in the Financial Services or Insurance industry. Added advantage if you are Enterprise Architect certified. Added advantage if you have experience working with GCC (Government Community Cloud) environments.
