The opportunity ROOTS Communications Pte Ltd, a leading provider of cutting-edge telecommunications solutions, is seeking a talented and experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will report to the division Vice President and be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable network infrastructure to support the company's rapidly growing client base.

Key responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components to make informed decisions regarding equipment selection, network design, and integration.

  2. Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, provide technical guidance, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.

  3. Implement and maintain secure and reliable network connectivity for our clients.

  4. Analyse network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimisations to ensure optimal network efficiency

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issues

  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our service offerings

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a Senior Network /Architect/ Technical Manager or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex network environments.

  2. Strong proficiency in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting using industry-leading tools and platforms

  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve network-related issues efficiently

  4. Hands-on technical experience and/or CCNP, CCIE, or HCIP,HCIE certification is an advantage

  5. Diploma/ Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, or a related field.

  6. Excellent leadership, communications, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  7. Able to start work immediately.
