Warehouse Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of Plant Receiving, Stockroom, and LVHM Kitting activities. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet company goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assigning daily work activities to subordinate staff based on priority needs.
  • Departmental budgeting, manpower planning, and distribution to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Developing and providing career paths for subordinates to enhance their professional growth.
  • Instilling discipline and teamwork amongst subordinate staff to foster a positive work environment.
  • Continuously updating Stockroom procedures to align with current business demands.
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with ISO procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative ideas to drive business growth.
  • Conducting staff counseling and appraisal to promote employee development.
  • Communicating problems, concerns, and recommendations to ICs and department managers.
  • Leading the stockroom team in adhering to security and safety protocols.
  • Monitoring and maintaining key performance indicators for the stockroom to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Escalating liability issues to management for timely resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations, industry trends, and financial analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and e-mail skills are also essential.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Plus 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of SMT principles.
  • Or equivalent warehouse management experience.
  • Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
