Opportunity Overview:
Chilli Api ️ is seeking a passionate and goal-driven Food Technologist to be part of our R&D team
As a Food Technologist at Chilli Api, you will be directly involved in developing a wide range of products - from braised dishes like Curry Chicken and Chap Chye to fried rice creations such as Buah Keluak Fried Rice. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, problem-solving and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone to innovate and improve.

Job Scope:
• Assist to design and lead product development projects from ideation and prototyping through to commercialisation, in accordance with the company's goals
• Maintain proper documentation of all development trials performed
• Analyse experimental data and summarise findings into technical reports
• Present project updates and product prototypes to stakeholders
• Perform scheduled equipment calibration
• Support cross-functional initiatives and carry out other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
• Diploma holders or above; prior relevant experience is an advantage
• Familiar with basic instrumental analysis such as water activity meter and pH meter
• Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills and rigour in project management
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
