Job Title: Technical Director, Mechanical

At the heart of our company is a strong passion for engineering and leadership. As a Technical Director, you will lead and manage our mechanical engineering division, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations of the mechanical engineering division to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as Project Director/Manager and Qualified Person (Mechanical) for key projects, overseeing the entire project life cycle from design to delivery while ensuring cost control, technical quality, and project profitability.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new project opportunities, securing clients, and fostering strong relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior management to assess technical capabilities, plan future growth, and contribute to the achievement of strategic company objectives. Mentor junior engineers to strengthen the team's technical expertise.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for mechanical systems design and sustainable building services, continuously recommending improvements and identifying necessary software and equipment to support project and engineering needs.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's or Bachelor's).
  • Have minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering consultancy or professional service firm, with a proven track record in mechanical systems design, development, and delivery.
  • Be a Registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with relevant certification.
