Role Summary :
As a member of the Global Logistics Team, the Logistics Analyst oversees and supports the commercial elements of the Global Logistics category. Responsible for the deployment and execution of site-specific logistics strategies, as well as maintaining an effective working relationship with key logistics providers to maximize Flowserve's logistics capabilities and permanently enhance our customers' order-to-delivery experience. The responsibilities include the onboarding of the logistics providers after participating in sourcing events, including the organization and execution of logistics services consultations. In his/her role, the Logistics Analyst will identify productivity enhancements that contribute to increased operational and financial performance and service improvements. An important part of the job for the Logistics Analyst is regular data analysis on large data sets to assess the performance of the logistics system across the regions.
Responsibilities & Requirements :
Implement processes and procedures in accordance with the global logistics vision and strategy to achieve the desired performance level.
Act as a project manager during the onboarding of a new logistics vendor.
Assess regularly and communicate effectively the operational and performances of the logistics providers / sites (such as variance analysis, root-cause / counter measures analysis, performance to revenue, service levels).
Prepare and facilitate the monthly / quarterly business reviews for the logistics providers showcasing spend, volume, KPIs and Statement of
