What the role is: As part of the MOH Health Tech Policy Division, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing health technology policies to ensure compliance and alignment with strategic objectives. You will develop, provide advice on and support the implementation of ICT and data governance policies in the public healthcare sector. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. What you will be working on: Lead the development, review and enhancement of ICT and data governance policies, standards and guidelines. Oversee the implementation and communication of ICT and data governance policies, standards and guidelines. Conduct reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing policies. Engage and collaborate with relevant Divisions and key stakeholders to gather feedback on policy needs and requirements. This includes proactively seeking feedback to ensure policy effectiveness. Collaborate with Senior Leadership to ensure policies support the overall strategic goals and outcomes of the public healthcare sector. Foster collaboration with relevant key stakeholders to ensure policies are practical and aligned with operational needs. Drive a culture of continuous improvement in policy development and implementation processes. Provide secretariat support to IT and data-related meeting forums. What we are looking for: Work Experience, Competencies and Personal Traits An ideal candidate should possess the following:Tertiary education in public administration, political science, information technology, information systems, computer science, legal or a related field. Proven experience in policy development, and with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements – Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines and operating context and excellent writing skills to draft policies in a clear and succinct manner. Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. Improving & Innovating – Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. Working Effectively with Stakeholders – Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose, as well as work under strict timelines.
