Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients. The investment management business currently manages ~SGD 2 billion of AUM on behalf of institutional investors, with strong aspirations for growth within the region. Job Role Role Overview The CSA Works Package Manager plays a critical role in delivering the civil, structural, and architectural scope of work within a pharmaceutical construction project. This includes managing cleanroom construction, coordinating with MEP and process teams, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards, local building codes, and client specifications. The role demands strong technical oversight, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and compliant project delivery. Key Responsibilities Supervise all CSA contractors and ensure quality control across cleanroom finishes, structural works, architectural detailing, and external works. Maintain accurate site and test records in accordance with Client requirements, Building Control Act, GMP regulations, and prevailing codes. Conduct project engineering tasks including feasibility studies, technical instructions, and specification development to meet time and cost objectives. Manage tender and contract documentation, ensuring thorough review and compliance with pharmaceutical construction standards. Ensure construction activities align with GMP protocols, safety regulations, and best industry practices. Inspect works regularly, identify defects, and oversee timely rectification and closure. Submit regular reports on quality, progress, and corrective actions to senior stakeholders and client representatives. Coordinate specialist design support services, including cleanroom envelope design, architectural finishes, and structural integration. Oversee full project delivery cycle including design coordination, consultant appointments, performance reviews, and authority approvals. Maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical support to junior team members. About You You might be a good fit if you have: Recognized degree in Building & Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline 5–8 years of relevant experience in CSA project delivery, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments Proven ability to manage complex interfaces and deliver under pressure Strong client and stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise effectively across multidisciplinary teams Exceptional planning, negotiation, and organizational skills In-depth understanding of engineering principles, site management, and regulatory compliance in pharma construction Please note that this position is being advertised in anticipation of upcoming projects.
