Job Description
KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, assisting clients with end-to-end business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. We are expanding our practice and seeking an SAP Basis consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess both functional and technical expertise to deploy SAP Basis solutions effectively.
This position is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Engage with clients for consultation, project execution, SAP Sizing for RISE, SAP performance tuning, and support of SAP environments.
Perform SAP Basis tasks: installations, configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, BTP, Cloud connector, SOLMAN, CALM, etc.), upgrades, SPS, SAML, SSO, Charm, TMS, system refreshes, and client copies.
Manage SAP system architecture, hardware, and integration landscape; oversee SAP Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
Implement S4/HANA data migration and transformation during new implementations and upgrades.
Plan cutovers and prepare data migration runbooks.
Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and system performance optimization to ensure system stability and availability.
Maintain SAP patching activities, including monthly/quarterly Unix OS patches.
Configure BTP, Workzone, and troubleshoot issues across S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, and third-party systems.
Design data migration solutions involving extraction, transformation, and load processes.
Work with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and implement performance optimization techniques.
Support presales activities: develop technical solutions, proposals, and client presentations.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support bids and identify new opportunities.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred).
At least 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/ABAP administration and application development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results independently.
