The Role of Operations Director

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to fill the role of Operations Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our center, ensuring that it runs efficiently and effectively. This includes developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, managing staff, and maintaining a positive environment for students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring smooth functioning and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of resources.
  • Manage the center's facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for all activities.
  • Responsible for recruiting new students and managing the renewal process for current students.
  • Manage class schedules, student enrollment, and track attendance.

We are looking for a leader who can build strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring excellent communication regarding program updates, student progress, and center activities.

A key aspect of this role is to provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. This includes conducting performance evaluations, offering professional development opportunities, and addressing any performance issues.

Staff Leadership and Development:

  • Hire, train, and manage staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Marketing and Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment and raise awareness of our center's offerings.

As Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our center by fostering a love for technology and innovation in young minds.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in technology, education, or management fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in an educational or enrichment setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for STEM education and working with children.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is essential.
