The Trade Compliance Officer serves as the global functional head for trade compliance and logistics governance across Advanced MedTech Holdings and its subsidiaries. The role is responsible for ensuring that all import, export, and customs activities comply with international trade laws, medical device regulations, and corporate standards. This position works closely with Legal & Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations leadership to safeguard the company's global supply chain, manage regulatory risk exposure, and ensure business continuity across key markets in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The incumbent will be the company's subject matter expert in customs valuation and trade compliance, able to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, practical processes for global and regional teams. Job Responsibilities Lead the global logistics and trade compliance function, defining strategy, governance, and compliance standards across all regions (Singapore, Germany, United States, China, Japan, Europe, etc.). Develop and maintain global trade compliance policies and procedures aligned with corporate governance standards, Singapore Exchange (SGX) guidelines, and applicable medical device import/export regulations. Managing the regional trade compliance programs, procedures, systems, risk assessments, audit plans and relationship with the authorities to ensure compliance with applicable medical device import/export regulations. Serve as the internal "Center of Excellence" for customs and trade matters, providing expert guidance to management and regional teams. Import & Export Compliance Management Oversee the review and approval of import and export documentation to ensure compliance with international customs and export control regulations. Validate the correct use of Harmonized System (HS) codes, product classifications, customs valuation, and certificates of origin for all shipments. Ensure regulatory readiness or changes for controlled medical devices and restricted technologies, including compliance with: U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR)Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW)Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA)Customs and Clearance Issue Resolution Act as the escalation point for global customs clearance issues. Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to resolve disputes, inspections, or shipment holds in a timely manner.
