Responsibilities:
Set the engineering strategy and ensure it aligns with organizational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage product roadmaps.
Build and maintain long-term technical plans to meet evolving business and infrastructure needs.
Coach and mentor engineers, providing feedback and guidance to support growth.
Drive initiatives to enhance quality, reliability, security, and overall engineering effectiveness.
Champion best practices that foster a strong engineering culture.
Support recruitment, especially for senior technical roles.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of leadership experience , managing at least
5 direct reports .
Proven track record building and scaling large, high-availability software systems.
Strong full-stack knowledge: modern frontend (Next.js/React.js) and backend (Java/TypeScript).
A balance of technical expertise and leadership soft skills.
Passion for engineering excellence; you see software as a team sport.
Motivated by public good and purpose-driven innovation.
