We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst – Structured Products to play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's Structured Products platform. You will cover the end-to-end lifecycle from product structuring, pricing, trade execution, and risk management to post-trade operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with one of our leading Swiss banking client, acting as the bridge between business and technology across front-to-back functions. What You'll Do Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Engage with Structuring, Trading, Sales, Risk, and Operations teams to capture and document business and technical requirements. Translate complex structured product needs into clear specifications and user stories for IT delivery teams. Map end-to-end business processes, data flows, and system interactions across pricing, booking, and lifecycle systems. Project Delivery & Governance Lead business analysis workstreams for strategic initiatives across structured products and cross-asset projects. Support project scoping, business case definition, and roadmap planning. Drive UAT planning, test case creation, and coordination with QA and end users. Track and manage issues, risks, and dependencies across delivery streams. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Facilitate workshops with Front Office, Product Control, Risk, Operations, and IT. Communicate progress, risks, and solutions effectively to senior management. Process Optimisation & Innovation Identify opportunities to streamline structured products workflow and enhance time-to-market. Drive automation, digitisation, and data-driven decision-making initiatives. Support implementation of AI, analytics, and workflow tools to boost efficiency. What We're Looking For Education & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within investment banking or structured products technology projects. Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions for structured products (e.g., Equity-linked notes, FX/credit-linked notes, dual currency instruments). Technical & Domain Expertise Strong understanding of the structured product lifecycle — from issuance to settlement. Familiarity with front-office/risk systems such as Murex, Calypso, Sophis, or Avaloq. Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Excel, Power BI) and business process modelling. Experience with Agile delivery frameworks (JIRA, Confluence). Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset. Proven ability to lead and mentor junior analysts. Preferred Qualifications Experience in wealth management or private banking structured products. Exposure to regulatory/risk reporting (MiFID II, FRTB, Basel). Understanding of pricing engines, payoff modelling, and product taxonomy frameworks.
