Overview GovTech is a lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives and public sector digital transformation. As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems, GovTech develops the Singapore Government’s capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Application Development, Smart City Technology, Digital Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. What you will be working on The position is under the Product Management Practice of the Government Technology Office (GTO) in GovTech and reports to the Practice Head. The Product Management Practice determines GovTech’s overall product direction to solve national priority problems and how GovTech should serve as the Government’s centre of excellence for digital products. Key Responsibilities Help plan and execute policies, strategies and roadmaps to drive optimal resource allocation within GovTech to solve national priority problems. Help plan and execute policies, strategies and roadmaps to drive better product outcomes and better product development practices within Government agencies. Serve as GovTech and WOG’s thought leader in product management practices. Key Skills and Qualifications Product policy experience in a government context, including designing consolidation or proliferation frameworks. Product management expertise with outcome‑centric metrics and realistic technical requirements. Stakeholder engagement and cross‑agency collaboration, managing conflicts and negotiations. Understanding of the Government ICT landscape. Strong work ethic, bias toward action, willingness to learn and continuously improve. Knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus. Optional: experience in policy design, resource allocation frameworks and change management. Culture and Expectations Take ownership and accountability to solve problems. Try new approaches, fail and improve, and iterate. Bias toward action and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Resourceful and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
