Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team in carrying out maintenance and overhaul jobs (mechanical, diesel, and air-conditioning) both onboard vessels and in workshops.
Plan, coordinate, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of work.
Prepare, monitor, and update work schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Manage daily manpower deployment and provide clear instructions to the team.
Conduct site inspections, work discussions, and ensure compliance with safety requirements and permits.
Provide logistical support, including spare parts requisition and follow-up.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven supervisory experience in managing and deploying workers effectively.
