School of Art, Design and MediaNanyang Technological University, SingaporeApplicants to this position will be able to demonstrate expertise in overseeing the audio aspect of students' projects related to digital filmmaking, from initial concept, screenwriting, production and post-production to the final sound mix. Applicants will be able to demonstrate passion in guiding students in exploring the possibilities of audio for film in a variety of forms, which may include traditional scripted filmmaking, serialized content, non-scripted content and short-format videos.Successful candidates will have a relevant Master's and/or PhD in audio or related field with a track record of creative practice in film production. Past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. The course will examine the various concepts of assembling images and sound as cinema has evolved and also the creative aspects of editing.
