Senior/Principal BCD Device Engineer Opportunity

This role involves collaborating with leading semiconductor foundries to provide advanced IC manufacturing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with consumer and automotive customers to understand their BCD device feature requirements.
  • Develop P-cell layout generation for BCD technology related active and passive devices.
  • Work closely with the Modelling team to create models that meet customer-specific needs.
  • Implement application-specific device features in the Process Design Kit (PDK) and facilitate technical communication with customers.
  • Enhance BCD device performance and features based on customer needs.

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Physics with a strong foundation in semiconductor device physics, power device applications, and device reliability.
  • Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering with 8+ years of experience in BCD device development.
  • More than 5 years of hands-on experience in developing BCD devices from scratch for both consumer and automotive-grade applications.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of DMOS and low-voltage analog device layout, device characterization, enablement features, and application requirements.
