Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
Work alongside stakeholders to establish requirements and convert into technical user stories. Understand opportunities/challenges and propose enhancement that will address these challenges while assessing impact to existing functionality and processes.
Collaborate and guide development team to build required solutions, becoming an effective bridge between users and technologies.
Ensure code and design are in compliance with bank policies and best practices.
Work with CI/CD pipeline toolchain (ie. Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus IQ) as well as deployment platforms such as PCF and Openshift.
Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational as well as technical considerations.
Provide application platform support as required.
Requirements
At least 2 years working experience in relevant roles.
Experience in Agile development practices.
Experience in large scale development using some of the following technology stack:
Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift/Kubernetes.
Javascript (AngularJS, ReactJS).
Experience in public cloud technology stacks of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage.
Experience in CI/CD Toolchain (Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, NexusIQ, Jfrog).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor and a technical lead.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
