Job Responsibilities
Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders to guests' rooms, ensuring that all items are presented in an appealing and organized manner by standard.
Set up and maintain in-room dining stations, ensuring that they are clean, well-stocked, and properly organized.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders, adhering to quality standards.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to assist guests if needed.
Upsell and promote additional food and beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Minimum Secondary school education with ‘O’ Level passes; Diploma in any field is an advantage
Experience
Minimum 1 year in a guest service / guest contact roles, preferably in a hospitality organization
Other Prerequisites
Previous experience as a server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external guests.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately take and deliver orders.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on scheduling.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, preparation methods.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other relevant technology used in in-room dining operations.
A commitment to upholding health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Possess a well-groomed, professional appearance.
