As an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting validation and maintenance activities related to temperature-sensitive equipment (e.g., autoclaves, freezers, cold rooms), conducting elastomer change-outs, and assisting in new equipment setup. Ensures compliance with GMP, EHS, and company standards while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Temperature Mapping: Set up and maintain temperature mapping for critical equipment.
Maintenance: Perform elastomer change-outs and routine maintenance activities.
Process Engineering Support: Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Project Support: Provide technical assistance to Capex and engineering projects.
Documentation: Record maintenance, calibration, and mapping results accurately.
Compliance: Adhere to GMP, EHS, and safety standards; manage work permits for external vendors.
Issue Reporting: Escalate non-compliance issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns.
General Duties: Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial)
Demonstrates a growth mindset by learning from experience, promoting continuous improvement, and embracing change
Demonstrated a good understanding of cGMPs and operation of a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
Collaborates across functions, values diverse perspectives, and maintains strong customer focus by proactively understanding and addressing need
Delivers results through goal-setting, stakeholder engagement, and performance support.
Leads with integrity, accountability, and clear communication, fostering a positive, inclusive, and development-focused work environment.
