Matcha Barista Role

Crafting exceptional matcha experiences is at the heart of this role. As a skilled Matcha Barista, you will be responsible for brewing each drink with precision and consistency, balancing the art of tea-making with pride in the craft.

This position requires an individual who is passionate about providing calm and welcoming service to customers. You will engage warmly with guests, offering thoughtful recommendations and introducing them to the joy of matcha.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative with care and pride in what they do. This includes maintaining a clean and well-organised tea space, every detail reflecting our brand's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brewing high-quality matcha drinks with intention and consistency
  • Providing exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and making recommendations
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised tea space, adhering to hygiene standards
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, even during peak periods

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in F&B or café operations (tea or matcha experience is highly valued)
  • Confident in preparing tea-based drinks with consistency and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy tea bar without compromising on quality
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with both customers and teammates
  • A strong sense of hygiene, cleanliness, and workspace organisation
