Manufacturing Operations Leadership Role
Objective:
- To lead the setup, ramp-up, and ongoing operations of a next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to a major manufacturing/supply chain function, supporting a large and complex business unit.
- Establish and monitor production metrics/budgets through systems, initiating corrective action as needed.
- Plan and evaluate optimal resource utilization and efficiency of operation to minimize costs and ensure on-time delivery of product to customers.
- Direct and guide operations team personnel to accomplish specific production and supply chain goals consistent with established operational, housekeeping (5S), and safety procedures and processes.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and processes to produce quality products that meet customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
- Identify and pursue new technologies to improve production, increase efficiency, and maximize profitability.
Qualifications:
- At least 10-15 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab production.
- Strong organization, management, communication skills with attention to details.
- Experience in people and team management will be essential.
- Experienced in setting up pilot production from scratch or transferred technology from site to site and ramping up from pilot to production.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering.
