Manager, General Ledger (Immediately Available | Up to SGD 6K)
Our client is a European MNC in the Education Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a small team of finance professionals in delivering accurate and timely reporting.
Ensure all financial records are prepared in accordance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.
Drive the preparation and timely submission of group-level consolidation reports.
Oversee tax and GST submissions, ensuring full compliance with regulatory deadlines.
Act as the key liaison with external auditors during the year-end audit cycle.
Review balance sheet schedules to confirm accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules under IFRS 16 and support CGU modelling, responding to related queries as needed.
Key Requirements:
A degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to consolidated reporting.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.
Prior experience using ERP tools; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a bonus.
Strong eye for detail with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
Skilled communicator with the ability to engage various internal and external stakeholders.
Prior experience in audit (external or internal) is a plus.
Singapore citizen or PR only.
